Well, Monday started out early. I mean, we had to get up out of bed by 10 for Pete’s sake! Hardly appropriate for a vacation. By the time we got to the boat, it was 11 or so. Unthinkable!
Well, the boat was big. Kinda what I expected, though. We booked a four day cruise on the Norwegian Sky, with stops at Freeport, Nassau, and Norwegian Cruise Line’s private island Great Stirrup Cay. We had a balcony cabin, which is great since you don’t have to be around all the tons of people just to get outside to some fresh air. (I’m a bit of an agoraphobe).
Yeah, that’s me off in the distance pointing at our cabin. These photos were actually taken in another port, but I didn’t have any good shots of the ship from that first day. Not much went on that day. The boat didn’t leave dock until about 4 pm, so all we could do was walk around the ship, explore, and eat.
Oh yeah, there was drinking too…
All in all, a pretty relaxing day, even WITH having to get up so early! 🙂 As we pulled away from the dock, we prepared ourselves for the rest of the trip, enjoying the views from our balcony.
Well, by sundown we were both exhausted from all the strenuous work of sitting on that balcony, so it was time to crash…
At least for me 🙂
Have fun and ride safe,
